Better error reporting and advice for syntax errors

We just got a user in the server asking for help using the bot, and misunderstood the .help <module> text at the bottom of .help. They then issued that command, which complained of an invalid module.

Issues can probably be avoided by also listing working examples, in addition to the command syntax and by giving descriptive error messages when a command fails for reasons related to syntax.
