Freeze/crash of game when entering house Ghorak (Kriecher) in Caldera

The Game freezes when entering House Ghorak in Caldera, regardless whether from or back door. The NPCs sometimes still move, but when I try to move the window loses focus and eventually turns white when clicking on the game window again. The Character is Drizzt and the freeze occurs in Autosave, when entering the house. Faling back to Qucksave and replaying it results also in the freeze.
