Support for Extensions post Manifest v3

“We are currently migrating to Browser Extension Manifest v3 and localStorage is not available anymore here. So everything that should be stored from June 2024 onwards needs to use chrome.storage.local”

@threeletteracronym can we implement a Store that'll remain compatible? Perhaps it's just version bump of store.js if their upstream will support it.
