About me
Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, I have been living in Hamburg, Germany since 2013. I have been working in the IT industry for over 10 years, specializing in System Administration and DevOps. At GitLab Professional Services, I am eager to help customers maximize their use of GitLab and unlock their full DevOps potential. My experience includes supporting customers in the following areas:
- Self-Managed GitLab Implementation, covering various topics such as Reference Architectures, GEO, and Disaster Recovery.
- Migration from different SCM or CI tools to GitLab, as well as migrations between GitLab instances or to gitlab.com.
- Creating reusable GitLab CI pipelines with build, test, deploy, and review templates, combined with Security and Code Quality Features.
- Providing advisory services on group/project structures, security, and permissions, including access tokens and Service Accounts.
Working hours
At GitLab, one can benefit from the flexibility that remote work provides. As a father, I strive to maximize these benefits while always considering customer schedules. My core working hours are 9-18h CET, but I am flexible with my availability.
Communication
I prefer asynchronous communication for its flexibility, especially since I have a young child at home. However, I am always happy to support customers with synchronous chats, as our most important value at GitLab Professional Services is achieving Results for Customers.
If you would like to discuss GitLab Professional Services and explore how we can assist you, feel free to book an appointment via calendly.
