We could create our own implementation for the sharing links in blog posts, instead of relying in a 3rd-party service. We could also (perhaps) add like and share buttons instead of just share.

Perhaps we could add them to other pages as well, not only to posts? It could be as simple as a frontmatter variable set to true or false.
