Source Sans Pro and Lato have been around for a while and are a little outdated when it comes to type design. There are a lot of really great fonts out there that can accomodate everything we need and improve the overall feel of our site and brand. Some site examples using really nice, modern fonts, that we should be considering...

After doing a brief exploration, I believe IBM Plex Sans is the best option. It's available through Google Fonts and it has the greatest amount of weights. It's a great option and was recently released. It will be available in 110 languages, 8 weights, in sans-serif and serif and mono.
