[DEFECT (BUG)] Links to issues in Commits for Redmine Issue Tracker does not work!
I'am using Gitlab 7.2.1 CE.
I have activated the redmine issue tracker in the gitlab.yml as well as in the project settings. 'Issues' Button of the Project does redirect to redmine, 'new issue' does redirect me to redmine too - great.
But if I commit messages, by example my test commit messages:
No number of the commit is a link to the issue. Everything is just plain text in the commits!
The config part:
## If not nil, links from /#\d/ entities from commit messages will replaced with this
## Use placeholders:
## :project_id - GitLab project identifier
## :issues_tracker_id - Project Name or Id in external issue tracker
## :id - Issue id (from commit messages)
issues_url: "https://gitlab.domain.com/issues/:id"
"If not nil, links from /#\d/ entities from commit messages will replaced with this" Doesn't seem to work. I have googled for a solution, found nothing which works.
Please fix this Bug!
Update: Interesting. I have activated Jira as well in my config and set it in the profile. With Jira (which has the same style as redmine in the config: title, project_url, issues_url, new_issues_url) does it work! (Not on the main page... its plain text there as well (see screenshot from first post)) but if I click on the commit itself, i get the correct href!
Heres what I'am talking about:
Please fix it. Let the numbers link to the issue tracker of redmine. On the commit page itself as well as on the main project page:
