Use pointer:crosshair when hovering on the design view

Problem to solve

When hovering over the design view to leave a comment, the current cursor shows a comment icon inside a circle. This icon takes up space on top of the design and doesn't give any indication of where the pin will be placed.

User experience goal

The user should understand exactly where the comment pin will be placed and have a minimally obstructed view of the design when hovering.

Proposal

Use cursor: crosshair when hovering on the design rather than a custom icon. All clicking behaviors remain unchanged.
