New Diffs: Meaningful Metrics

As part of defining a new architecture and setting guidelines for development, we should plan the metrics we will use to measure our output.

These metrics should meaningfully & positively impact our end user.

Definitions:

• Who is our end user? Who could we be excluding? Is that okay?
• What numbers will we always hit (bytes, seconds, percents)? Why those numbers? Who does this serve?
• What concepts will we always get right (accessibility, performance/speed, offline-first, etc.)? Why those? Who does this serve?

Meaningful Metrics

1. Meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AA
2. Meets or exceeds ATAG 2.0 AA
