Explore using threads for small project creation with GPT Data Generator

With reports that users are looking to generate substantially higher numbers of small (many) projects than we've seen previously we may want to explore switching to threads in GPT Data Generator for that data to substantially increase throughput and reduce time.

The http gem use uses http-rb does give guidance on this and it may not be too much work to explore doing it. Task is to do just that, explore if it will work for our needs and if it reduces generation time.
