Category Maturity Scorecard -
What's this issue all about? (Background and context)
As the Category Maturity Scorecards are a new process and currently viewed as a pilot program, we want to understand how that pilot program is going and what improvements can be made to make it easier and retain the effectiveness of the process.
What are the overarching goals for the research?
Identify improvements to the Category Maturity Scorecard process
What hypotheses and/or assumptions do you have?
My hypothesis is that designers are looking for more of a summative evaluation of processes/features instead of an objective measurement of how the feature/process is being used. I also assume that the current process has area for improvement.
What research questions are you trying to answer?
What is keeping designers from conducting this process? What could be changed in the process to make it easier and more accessible for designers? How does this process fit into the current user centered design process?
What persona, persona segment, or customer type experiences the problem most acutely?
Designers and PMs and to some extent researchers
What business decisions will be made based on this information?
Improvements will be made to the category maturity scorecard process
What, if any, relevant prior research already exists?
nothing that i know of since this is a new process here.
What timescales do you have in mind for the research?
I'm going to speak to interested parties this week (March 30-April 3) and then analyze what i learned
Who will be leading the research?
