it requires a locally-built image of Josh Eisinger's (https://gitlab.com/josh.eisinger) slurm-cluster dockerfile, which is a proper rocky8 based image of giovtorres' https://github.com/giovtorres/slurm-docker-cluster

creating this tag to keep track of where i was going with the pip install branch on the main repo. my version has deviated too much to want to throw out, but also enough that i don't want to just mindlessly sync the fork and get rid of the dev history.

so i'm creating this tag, so that i can clobber the branch and re-sync with the project's fork. I should try to use git-flow to it's advantage next time.
