Ability to upload logs, text files, and config files to posts

I'd say allow for .log, .txt, .json, .ini, and .cfg file types.

Also should check if uploaded file is a plugin or not and deny if so. These should only be allowed to be uploaded in the development sections where people are asking for help with the development of their own plugins.
