Why is this change being made?

It is important to note that the CSE is a Developer Advocate dedicated to customers and that, as such, he provides help and support to the CSM team and the sales team to facilitate the adoption of GitLab by the existing customers. Its action is intended for GitLab Enterprise users and not for the OpenSource community.
