Why you want to become a Merge Request Coach?

I love when people outside GitLab contribute to the GitLab codebase. Reviewing and approving merge requests is something that I can help with, and that I've been doing so far from time to time

How much time you are planning to spend on it?

I dedicate ~ 4h daily to review merge requests from backend and database. I use this time to review community contributions as well.

Which duties you are focusing on (e.g. triage, finish stale MRs)?

  • Triage issues and merge requests
  • Help first contributors (or any contributor) to move forward with their merge request.
  • Review merge requests from backend/database perspective
