Removing "9 box" and replacing with "Performance/Potential Matrix
Why is this change being made?
Proposing that we remove "9 box" and replace with "Performance/Potential Matrix" because:
- The term "9 box" is more US-centric and less globally inclusive
- The reason we're incorporating performance assessments is to explore performance and potential, not to put people in boxes. Though the end result is a box, branding this as a "9 box" puts an immediate focus on the box as opposed to performance and potential.
This is a small change, but thoughts are that as we roll this out company-wide it could make a big difference if we communicate it as a "matrix" as opposed to a "box".
