Update guidance for conferences under USD 1000
Why is this change being made?
Three minor updates made to the Growth and Development Reimbursement page to help answer questions I had when approving expenses for conferences. Shiloh Barry helped provide the answers, I've made suggested updates to the handbook page.
Question 1: If a Team Member goes to a free, virtual conference, is there any requirement to fill in the Growth and Development form (Under $1000).
Answer 1: No
Update 1: Added sentence to How to Apply For Growth and Development Benefits
Question 2: If a Team Member goes to a reimbursable (<$1000) conference, does the Growth and Development form need to be attached to the expenses?
Answer 2: Yes
Update 2: Added sentence to Workshops and Conferences row in the table in Types of Growth and Development Reimbursements table.
Question 3: Reimbursement for related expenses will be processed once proof of attendance is provided. Does the above statement refer to the conference fee?
Answer 3: Yes
Update 3: Updated sentence in Workshops and Conferences row in the table in Types of Growth and Development Reimbursements table to clarify.
