Consolidate Plan categories
As a follow-up to our Plan direction revamp, we are cleaning up Plan categories!
Category Consolidation
- We are consolidating
Issue Tracking
andBoards
into a new category calledTeam Planning
. - We are consolidating
Epics
andRoadmaps
into a new category calledPortfolio Management
Why is this change being made?
- These names align more closely with the terminology that analysts and our competitors use.
- These groupings will encompass a full use case and align to the guidance in the handbook about the scope of a category
Categories are high-level capabilities that may be a standalone product at another company.
Category Dissolution
- We are changing
Time Tracking
from a category to a feature.
Why is this change being made?
- We are not planning to build out a full-time tracking offering.
- We will make incremental improvements to our issue-based time tracking features to support the Enterprise Agile Planning use case.
