GKE cluster setup: Use n2d machines by default, enable autoscaling
What does this MR do?
This came up via a Slack discussion about saving GCP costs: https://gitlab.slack.com/archives/CB3LSMEJV/p1667826832274789 (internal only)
The n2d
machines are similarly sized (have slightly more memory even) than n1
s and are cheaper to use.
We should also enable autoscaling so that idle clusters will be scaled down.
