Update Bash integration

Tomasz Maczukin requested to merge update-bash-integration into master

The Bash integration script required few improvements and a cleanup (mostly to start passing the shellcheck tests).

It was also not mentioned in the README file, so it was not easily discoverable for new GCK users. This MR improves both 🙂
