Limit required modifications to files

Evan Read requested to merge eread/refine-stylelint-configuration into main

Removed some file modification that isn't required for test.

To ensure all of content/assets/stylesheets/_variables.scss is tested, insert some front matter for the first time which is then removed for the test.
