Add inclusion parameter for Search::IndexCurator
What does this MR do and why?
Previously the only way to limit the indices that the Search::IndexCurator
curates was with an ignore_patterns
parameter. This MR introduces a include_patterns
parameter that basically overrides any ignore_pattern if specified.
This will allow us to slowly roll out search index curation. The current plan is to start with Notes
and include more from there.
These are related MRs to this process:
- Add dry run capability: !103959 (merged)
- Add inclusion parameter to support excluding everything besides specified indices: !103951 (merged)
👈 - Add feature flags to toggle which indices should be added to inclusion parameter: !104423 (merged)
- Add an ops feature flag that toggles
dry_run
parameter inSearch::IndexCurationWorker
