We are adding a new work items index to index the WorkItem records in elasticsearch

How to set up and validate locally

Numbered steps to set up and validate the change are strongly suggested.

  1. Make sure you have advanced search enabled.
  2. From the terminal run bin/rails gitlab:elastic:index
  3. Then from the rails console run ::Elastic::ProcessBookkeepingService.track!(*WorkItem.all)
  4. Notice in the elasticsearch you will see the new index with alias gitlab-development-work_items and it will have some newly indexed docs
