What does this MR do and why?

Some code cleanup leftover from !148886 (merged), which was merged quickly due to time sensitivity

Changes:

  • Use dasherize
  • Create extractAiMetricsData helper
  • Simplify generateDateRanges helper
  • Remove start/end dates from change column
