Modify CI Lint API deprecation notice

What does this MR do and why?

Edit: After some discussion the MR was changed to modify rather than delete the notice. Old description below:

Removes the deprecation notice as per the discussion here.

The Deprecation MR template is very involved, but I didn't see any hint as to what the process for removing a deprecation might be there or in the handbook, so I'm opening this without many bells and whistles.

@dhershkovitch Do you know if this needs any approvals, and who to best tag for review/merge?
