What does this MR do?

Clearify a misleading regex example in the docs.
The example shows how to test whether a variable contains one of two alternative strings. I, however, misinterpreted it and assumed it shows how to test whether the variable is equal to either of these strings. The added explanation hopefully prevents future readers from making the same mistake.
