Callout message to finish global rollout before releasing the feature with feature flag
What does this MR do?
As reported in !64042 (closed), recently we're seeing some cases that developers do not follow the feature flag rollout process, specifically they change the default status of the flag in code before the global rollout has been finished. This is strongly discouraged that documented as:
It's strongly recommended that the feature flag is enabled globally on production for at least one day before making this decision. Unexpected bugs are sometimes discovered during this period.
This MR shows a callout message in MRs where changes the default_enabled
state, to give a heads-up to the DRIs to ensure the global rollout has already been done. For example, they will see the following message:
