Perform a one-time 1:1 team -> stage/group inference for open and closed issues, as well as open, merged and closed MRs under the `gitlab-org` group

This is a one-off MR to perform a 1:1 team -> stage/group inference for all the following resources under the gitlab-org group:

  • open issues
  • closed issues
  • open MRs
  • merged MRs
  • closed MRs

This is part of the effort to transition from team labels (e.g. ~Manage, ~Plan) to DevOps stage & group labels (e.g. devopsmanage ~"group::access") to populate our various dashboards.

Expected impact

Following is the expected number of issues/MRs that will be applied a stage and/or group label based on their current team label.

The @gitlab-bot won't leave a message on the resources it updates, but if you're subscribed to any stage or group labels, you may receive a lot of notifications.

You can safely ignore those notifications, and even set up a custom GMail filter to automatically mark as read/archive/delete those notifications. Simply follow the steps at https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/tools-and-tips/#apply-label-to-all-gitlab-generated-emails but replace from:gitlab@mg.gitlab.com with from:"GitLab Bot".

This shouldn't be merged.
