The ".NET Auto Attach" extension is created to enable a seemless debugging experience when working with dotnet-watch. After dotnet-watch restarts your application, ".NET Auto Attach" will attach the debugger.

The dotnet new project templates in .Net 6 and later may default to some values that introduce new behavior. If you don't want to use these features, you can edit the template packages manually.
